Dr. Jose A. Da Costa
Dr. Jose Da Costa obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991 from the University of Toronto. Following his graduation, Dr. Da Costa established his own dental practice in downtown Toronto from 1992 to 2006. In 2007, he completed a three-year endodontic graduate residence program at the University of Toronto, receiving a Master’s of Science in Endodontics, and a fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as a certified specialist in Endodontics.
From 1991 to 2012. Dr. Da Costa was a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto in the department of Oral Anatomy, in the qualifying program for foreign trained dentists, and in the graduate and undergraduate Endodontic department.
Dr. Da Costa served as the President at The Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, The Ontario Society of Endodontists, and The George Hare Endodontic Study Club in the past. Dr. Da Costa maintains his membership in several professional organizations, including the Ontario Society of Endodontists, The International Association of Dental Traumatology, the American Association of Endodontists, the Comprehensive Dental Study Club of Hamilton, and the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Da Costa has been actively involved in providing continuing Endodontic education courses for general dentists across Ontario.
