
Dr. Diogo Guerreiro
Dr. Diogo Guerreiro graduated from Egas Moniz School of Health and Science in Portugal in 2001. He obtained a Diploma in Endodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Valência, Spain in 2002, and completed his training in Endodontics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he earned a Master’s degree in 2007. From 2007 to 2016, he owned a private practice dedicated to microscopic endodontics in Portugal and served as an assistant professor in the specialty program in endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Lisbon.
In 2016, Dr. Guerreiro moved to the USA, where he completed a 3-year MSc in the endodontics program at the University of Michigan. He was awarded The Philip W Cohen Memorial Scholarship, recognizing his dedication to endodontics and commitment to professional excellence, which is given to the graduate endodontic resident who demonstrates the most outstanding qualities.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada, licensed as an endodontic specialist by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and a member of the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Guerreiro is also the author of several articles in endodontic journals and books. He serves as a reviewer for the International Endodontic Journal and has been a lecturer and instructor for hands-on courses in Endodontics worldwide.
