Your First Visit
Your first appointment at our office will be for a consultation.
We asked that you arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time to ensure all necessary information and consent forms are completed, if not completed on the online portal.
Please bring a list of medications and insurance information to this appointment, if applicable.
Note: patients under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian accompany then to the consultation appointment.
What to expect at the consultation appointment
You will be seated by the Dental Assistant in the consultation room. The Dental Assistant will take an x-ray of the area you were referred to our office for. The Endodontist will come in to meet with you, and to discuss the history and chief complaints of the tooth. A clinical assessment will be done to determine the diagnosis of the tooth. Once the clinical assessment is complete and the x-ray has been evaluated, the Endodontist will discuss your treatment options, the treatment in detail and answer any questions you may have.
After the consultation is completed, the administrator will discuss the financial cost of the treatment needed and send a pre-determination to your insurance company. The number of visits and length of appointment time will be discussed. If you decide to go ahead with the treatment advised, an appointment will be scheduled for you.
